| The ACE Project at Great Barr Primary School |

Access to Conductive Education (ACE) is a two year pilot project funded from the following voluntary sources by The Foundation for Conductive Education: An anonymous donor
The project started in February 2006, and Istvan Szucs is the highly experienced conductor-in-charge overseeing its work at Great Barr Primary School (www.grtbarr.bham.sch.uk) enabling children to develop in all areas of their learning and personality.

| This is achieved by working with the children, their families, school staff and other professionals including a physiotherapist, an educational psychologist and a speech and language therapist.
Children benefiting from the project at present have conditions such as cerebral palsy, dyspraxia, autistic spectrum disorder, hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy, and previously conjoined twins. |

| Families of the 16 children taking part in the project and school staff have said that changes have been profound for many of the children.

LEADING ASPECT AWARD
