The Foundation for Conductive Education

It’s a small world - the day that the
NEC came to NICE

“I am the dad of Thomas Hopwood who attends The National Institute of Conductive Education. I am also the organiser of Miniatura, the world’s largest miniatures show at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.

“On the first day of term this year I delivered Tom to school and noted that the entrance area had been given a fresh coat of paint, that some new planting and furniture had appeared in the garden areas and two fantastic murals depicting Winnie the Pooh had been installed. I remarked on these improvements and was very pleasantly surprised to hear that the volunteers responsible were none other than the NEC financial department.

“Naturally I would like to thank the whole financial team at the NEC for giving their time and creative energies to making such a difference. I would also like to congratulate the fundraising team at NICE for thinking up such a wonderful idea for a team building course that did so much for a charity so close to my heart”.
