The Foundation for Conductive Education’s annual Golf Day took place on Friday 26th May 2006 at Blackwell Golf Club. |

Fifteen teams of four enjoyed a sunny afternoon of first-class play at the beautiful course., followed by dinner in the evening with entertainment from Simon Topman, head of Acme whistles and a charity auction. |

The day was greatly supported by both teams and prize donors who were Central Aviation Training, Hawkstone Park hotel and golf course, Stenaline, Mariott Hotels, Ping, The Personal Training Clinic, Living Golf, National Trust, the Holiday Inn and the Symphony Hall. Thank you especially to the event sponsors; Robin Hood Golf Centre, Churchill Office Solutions, Landrover, KPMG, Barclays and Price Water House Coopers.
Ashby Financial Services, NM Rothschild & Sons, Cadbury Trebor Bassett and Grevayne Properties were among the many teams who enjoyed a round of golf whilst raising over £5000 to support children and adults with physical disabilities. Thank you to everyone who took part.
The team winners were as follows: 1. Ricoh Longest drive: Ken Allen
Next year’s event will be held at Blackwell Golf Club near Bromsgrove in Worcestershire on Wednesday 23rd May 2007 and will cost £400 for a team of four to include dinner and entertainment.
