Battle of the Forces

Battle of the Forces was a great success that helped us to raise over £600 on stalls alone! .........

The Battle of the Forces Family Fun Day held at ‘Tally Ho! Sports and Social Club’ on Pershore Road, on Sunday 16th July, was a great success that helped us to raise over £600 on stalls alone!

The day was a great success, if a little hot! A big thank you to the West Midlands police force and fire service for their support and to everybody who came along and had a great time! There were over 5000 people who came along on the day to climb aboard the police helicopter and have a go in the police cars and fire engines and experience what it’s like when those sirens are going off! Other attractions of the day included a mini funfair, various stallholders, a live samba band and ‘It’s a Knockout’ challenge between the two forces.

It was an excellent family day out with lots of fun activities and stalls that we hope we will be able to recreate next year!
