Charity Golf Day

The Foundation for Conductive Education returned to Blackwell this year for our most successful golf day yet, raising over £10 000 for the charity.

 

 
We were honoured to have former Ryder Cup Captain Bernard Gallacher OBE attending the event that sold out within weeks. Eighteen teams enjoyed a day of sunshine, beautiful surroundings and challenging golf, followed by a delicious dinner and Bernard’s fantastic speech about life on the golfing circuit.

Our sincere thanks go to everyone who supported the day, especially Cadbury Trebor Bassett – who surprised us with their cheque for £1500, raised through months of fundraising activities. This is the second year the golf team has raised substantial amounts of money for us – thank you Cadbury, we really do appreciate your support!
