The Foundation for Conductive Education

Christmas at the Foundation

December 2007

Eaton Raffles
Eaton Hotel (Throughout December)

The Eaton Hotel on the Hagley road is a generous supporter of the Foundation and on selected dates in December volunteers sold raffle tickets to raise money and awareness of the Foundation. The prizes at the raffles were beautiful hampers made up by Gayle Westcott.

Over 5 days we managed to raise over £1000 for the Foundation. We are always looking for volunteers for this event so we can do as many dates as possible and raise as much money as possible, so if this is something you would like to hear more about contact Tracey on tgoodwin@conductive-education.org.uk

Carol Singing
New Street Station (Christmas with the Foundation)

Several volunteers from the Foundation put on their best singing voices and took centre stage at New Street Station in December. Wearing Santa hats, reindeer horns and shaking buckets we sang our hearts out to raise money. It was great fun and we sang the old favourites such as Jingle Bells, We wish you a Merry Christmas and Away in a Manger! A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the singing!

Santa Collections (1st - 20th December)
Moose International Sutton Coldfield

Santa Collections

“Santa Claus is coming to town!” Indeed, this was never truer than in Sutton Coldfield in December. Intrepid people from Moose International and the Foundation spent over two weeks walking round Sutton knocking on doors and surprising happy children with Santa. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces. A big thank you to Moose, Paul Rowe and Santa for making this event so good and helping raise over £2000 for the Foundation.
