Brindleyplace is giving back in 2017 with the announcement of four new charity partners, a first in the estate’s history. All Birmingham based charities, the funds raised at Brindleyplace this year will go towards local people and causes and we are delighted that NICE has been chosen to be supported through their annual outdoor Film Festival which takes place from the 17th – 23rd July.
Sam Lawrence, Director of Property Management for Brindleyplace, said: “We’re proud to be supporting four great Birmingham charities and look forward to working with them over the next twelve months. Attracting more and more people each year, our free events represent a great opportunity for each charity to raise valuable funds and make a real difference to the lives of local people.
“The creativity and commitment shown throughout the application process by everyone involved was truly inspiring and, as well as being partnered with one of our established main events, each charity will have a chance to host their own event on the estate. With a full calendar of activity ahead of us, we hope the Brindleyplace community and the general public will join in the fun and help back these fantastic causes.”
To make this the very best success, we will be relying on our fabulous team of volunteers to help with the Film Festival and selling NICE merchandise on film days. If you are interested in events, the arts or fundraising and think you could help us by volunteering, please get in touch with Elaine at firstname.lastname@example.org. Volunteering is a wonderful and rewarding way to give back, and you’d also get to watch an open air film at this unique venue!
In addition to the Film Festival, we’ll be exploring other ways we can work with Brindleyplace so stay tuned for further exciting news!
